Good remote.Replaced an older remote (Command 2000) that quit with the RM-08. Installation went well, with one issue. I read somewhere that this remote will not fit in a flush, close-coupled installation, although that was not in the provided instructions, and that is true. I had the original parts with a short drop tube, so I was fine. I call Concord (951-737-9599)to find out which of the 2 supplied capacitors to use with my older fan. When this remote turns on the lights, it brings them up from a dim setting to the level I set, which is easier on the bulbs.

Lights up a big roomI struggled to find a fan that had enough light to cover our great room. This 5 light, light kit worked great for our 17 foot ceiling. I'm so thankful I found it. It looks awesome with the fan we previously bought. Assembly was easy and fit just fine even though the brand names were different.

DR-DownrodsI really liked that I found the correct diameter of the downrod that I was looking for what the fan needed. I also liked that the downrods came in a variety of colors and lengths, which helped me to get the right color and length for my fan.
